Chrysin-Tribulus is a unique herbal combination used by many athletes as a stand-alone supplement or in conjunction with various mass-building formulas like 4-Andro. This blend contains Bulgarian Tribulus terrestris, a plant extract that has attained popularity for naturally boosting testosterone levels. It also consists of chrysin, a phytoestrogen with 5,7-dihydroxyflavone. Many bodybuilders feel that chrysin helps prevent the problem of “gyno” or male breast tissue development. Gyno can occur in some men taking testosterone-boosting supplements as a result of a biochemical process known as aromatization, the conversion of excess testosterone molecules to estrogen. Sometimes these estrogens can lead to the development of unwanted breast tissue in males. Some feel that chrysin may help alleviate or prevent this problem.
